''Welcome to Wild Skies Podunk - the worst performing airport in the Wild Skies chain. The staff mean well, but "shabby" and "chaotic" are amongst the most common words used to describe the place online. They do get a thumbs up for friendliness, though.

This airport is so remote that the staff are either bored to tears from working in what feels like an abandoned mall, or in sheer panic when the occasional wave of passengers does come through, turning the place into a jungle.

Enter Shawn the fawn, the eager, over achieving newbie who's always dreamed of working for Wild Skies. He's the highest scoring student to ever graduate from the Wild Skies Academy, so he's a bit mystified as to why he's been assigned to the least desirable post. Fortunately, Shawn is the upbeat sort who'll do his best to fit in with his misfit workmates and help make the airport a better functioning place.

Good thing too, as the snivelling CEO of Wild Skies, 'E. Muskrat', is considering shutting the place down. Disgruntled travellers, rising operating costs, and those pesky green initiatives the government keep insisting on - how's a greedy corporation supposed to fleece the public these days?

Luckily, Shawn has a vision he hopes his co-workers will buy into: Spruce the place up, be even friendlier, and embrace the green as much as they can. Positive traveller sentiment will lead to good publicity and that will improve the numbers. Simple! Now, if only they can just stop shooting themselves in the foot and turning everyday tasks into nightmares.

Each episode will bring new exotic faces to Wild Skies Podunk and also new problems to solve. It could be the experimental electric plane that can't land but is running out of battery power, or the super-seed that covers the entire terminal in foliage. And let's not forget that time a prison transport plane has a breakout and the team needs to find their inner Die Hard. In the downtime between the chaos, Shawn and the gang explore the spooky, liminal spaces of the abandoned wings of the airport, reminders of Wild Skies Podunk's glory days.

Whatever problems arise, or are accidentally caused, our gang will try to figure out a way to try to keep their jobs! At its heart, Wild Skies is a workplace comedy revolving around a dysfunctional family that always pulls together.''
