This year, we also had the pleasure of teaming up with Forige and created a short film titled “Here for You”. The project was a collaboration between Sligo Comhairle na nÓg, Foróige Sligo and Sligo County Council to create awareness of online support as well as local support in Sligo town for the LGBTQIA+ community.
These organisations set out to show how important it is to the well being of a young person to feel respected, supported and valued within their community, and we were honoured to be given the opportunity to show our support and to be involved in creating this piece with ongoing input from a group of local Comhairle na nÓg members!
